South Coast Conference South Division Co-Champion Long Beach City College and SCC North second-place Chaffey are among the teams remaining in the race for the CCCAA men's basketball state title. The two teams advanced to Saturday's SoCal Regional Round 3 finals.
The SCC entered the postseason with strong seedings as follows: SCC North champion and #2 East Los Angeles, #4 Chaffey, SCC South Co-Champ and #5 Cerritos, #6 LBCC, and #14 Pasadena City.
The Vikings are on a 10-game winning streak and play at #3 seed Citrus College while Chaffey hosts #12 West Los Angeles.
